Locations
Locations vary from year to year. Summer 2010 locations are:

• Waypoint, 318 5th Street SE, downtown Cedar Rapids - FULL
• Hiawatha Elementary, 603 Emmons St., Hiawatha - FULL
• Madison Elementary, 1341 Woodside Dr NW, Cedar Rapids - FULL
• RiverRidge Kids, 4333 Edgewood Rd., Cedar Rapids – FULL
• ParkRidge Kids, 5830 C St SW, Cedar Rapids – open to the general public for school age care only

Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Ages Served
Children who have completed Kindergarten through fifth grades.

Camp participants are divided into two age groups and will do activities specific to their ages and will field trip separately:

• Discovery Kids include children who have completed grades K-1.
• Explorers include children who have completed grades 2-5.

Sample Day
6:30 - 8:45	Welcome / centers/ free play
8:45 - 9:15	Wash hands / morning snack
9:15 - 9:30	Review of the day's agenda
9:30 - 10:15	Structured activity - crafts, science, cooking, dramatic play
11:00 - 11:20	Literacy
11:20 - 12:00	Wash hands / lunch
12:00 - 3:30	Special activity - swimming, field trip, special guest, events
3:30 - 4:00	Wash hands / snack
4:00 - 6:00	Outdoors / centers / free play

Activities and Field Trips
Waypoint provides a variety of safe, age appropriate activities throughout the summer including sports, crafts, cooking, dramatic play, games, team building, and reading. In addition, we take weekly field trips, separated by our two curriculum focuses for the Discovery and Exporer ages, such as bowling, swimming, roller skating, Playstation, Kernels, water parks, Children's Museum and much more!

To enroll, call or e-mail Jen Kovach, Director of Waypoint School Age Kids Program at 319.365.1458 ext. 133 or jen.kovach@waypointservices.org, to receive a copy of our registration paperwork.  Once completed paperwork and payment is returned to Waypoint you will receive confirmation for your site placement.
