Waypoint Charitable Account at Stuff Etc.
Waypoint is pleased to announce our partnership with Stuff Etc. Individuals are now able to drop off gently used clothing, furniture, household items etc. at either convenient Stuff Etc. location in Cedar Rapids and donate it under the account name of Waypoint Services. No appointment is necessary! As the donated items sell, the money received through Stuff Etc. will be donated to Waypoint programs. Visit www.stuffetconline.com for a list of accepted and needed items.
Young Parents Network - We Care Shop
To better serve our clients and community supporters, Waypoint has partnered with the Young Parents Network and other local agencies, to support the We Care Shop—a community outreach project that collects gently used baby/toddler clothes, toys, and items which benefits participants of the supporting agencies. This incentive project supplies much needed infant/toddler items to clients who ‘earn’ points in a variety of ways, ie: participating in group night. These points are then exchanged for items that are typically difficult for participants to purchase on their own. All gently used donations are processed through the Young Parents Network main office located at: 722 5th Ave SE, downtown Cedar Rapids, 8:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m. Visit www.youngparentsnetwork.org for a list of accepted items.
