About Tribute to Women of Achievement
Annual Waypoint Tribute to Women of Achievement Celebrating outstanding women in our community.
For thirty years Waypoint has been the proud host of the Waypoint Tribute to Women of Achievement event. The evening is dedicated to celebrate and honor the exceptional women in our lives and the contributions they make to local organizations, businesses, and our community. On October 6, 2011, nearly 400 members of our community attended this special event to celebrate the many accomplishments of 31 women. In addition, Lileah Harris received the 2011 Pillar of the Community Award, an award given to a woman whose accomplishments, over an extended period of time and in multiple categories, reflect extraordinary contributions to our community.
This year's celebration will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012. You are invited to participate in the exceptional tradition of supporting our community and the women who make a difference within it. There are several ways to participate:
NOMINATE outstanding women in your organization, community or family for their achievements. Nominations must be submitted online in July 2012.
SUPPORT the event as an individual or company sponsor. Your name will be listed on the event invitations and in the program that evening.
Click here to give your sponsorship now. ATTEND the event on Thursday, October 4, 2012. Event invitations will be mailed in August 2012. Cost is $85 per person, $680 for a table of eight, and $800 for a table of ten.
