Nominations
Nominate A Woman Who Deserves Recognition We invite you to nominate women in your organization, church, family, and community who you feel deserve recognition for their tremendous impact and outstanding achievements. Your nomination guarantees recognition of your nominee at the event on Wednesday, October 6, 2010.
The Nomination Process 1. Select a category that is appropriate for the deserving women you will be nominating. The six categories are:
- Achievements in Her Field
- Growth and Accomplishments
- Organizational Impact: For-Profit
- Organizational Impact: Non-Profit
- Service and Support to Community or Country
- Unsung Heroine
2. Use the
Online Nomination Form to set up your account, write, and submit your nomination. Nominations are due on Friday,
July 23, 2010. Note:
- You may nominate as many women as you would like.
- The nomination fee is $50 per nominee. The nomination fee does not include a dinner reservation for the event night.
- All nominations must be completed online.
- Once you set up your account name and password, you may exit the nomination form and return at a later time to complete your entry. Please save your account name and password.
3. Every woman nominated is guaranteed recognition at the event and one woman within each category will be selected by a panel of judges to be honored for the additional Outstanding Achievement Award. The names of the women receiving the Outstanding Achievement Award are confidential and will not be released until the night of the event. 4. Waypoint will be contacting all nominees the second week of August to inform the women of their recognition at the Tribute to Women of Achievement event to be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010.
5. An informal reception will be held for nominees in September (exact date TBD). Nominees will have their photograph professionally taken and details about the Tribute evening will be provided.
6. Event invitations will be mailed in mid-August. If you do not receive an invitation in August, please contact us at 319.365.1458 ext. 121. Nominators are encouraged to send in the dinner reservation and dinner reservation fee for their nominees. Please ensure that on the dinner reservation card you include names of guests who would like to sit with your nominee.
