Denim Quilt On Display to Raise Awareness About Sexual Violence
In observance of National Sexual Assault Awareness Month the Metro High School Women's Issues class - led by a Waypoint advocate - created a denim quilt. Each denim patch tells a part of each teen's personal experience with sexual violence. Through the month of April the quilt and other projects created by the Metro High School group will be on display as a Visual Voices Art Show in the Waypoint lobby.
