Waypoint is excited to announce that dedicated, accomplished, and acknowledged speaker and storyteller Vanessa McNeal will be the keynote speaker at the 35th Annual Tribute to Women of Achievement Luncheon on Thurs., Feb. 23, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Through her work in public speaking and film, Vanessa informs and transforms audiences with her passion and veracity. She is a survivor of child abuse, familial sexual abuse, intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She overcame educational, intrapersonal, and social challenges that could have prevented her from achieving success. She uses her past as a vehicle to empower, educate, and inspire others.
In addition, Waypoint is also now accepting nominations for women of achievement in the following categories:
• Women of Achievement in Education, Arts, and/or Culture
• Women of Achievement in Leadership
• Women of Achievement in Innovation
• Women of Achievement in Service to Community
• Women of Achievement in Personal Life
