Waypoint Child Care
Child development at its best!

At Waypoint, we've designed our child care programs to help children develop their physical, emotional, social, intellectual and creative abilities. Through structured activities involving science, math, literacy, the arts, and technology, we help your child develop to his or her fullest potential.

Good communication with our parents is an essential part of our program. We value each child as an individual and work with you to create an environment that helps your child learn, grow and have fun!

Our Programs: Qualified Teachers
You can be sure your children are in capable hands at Waypoint. Our Lead Teachers have education and experience in early childhood education. In addition, all of our staff meet or exceed state licensing requirements and are trained in CPR, First Aid, infectious disease control and child development. But it's not just experience and know-how that make our staff great, it's the way they love and nurture the children in their care.

Safety Safety is a Priority
The safety of the children we serve is always of utmost importance to us. From parent identification to monthly drills to safety inspections of our equipment to on-going staff training -- safety is a priority. In addition, RiverRidge Kids and Uptown Kids are equipped with a keypad entry system for security of the Centers.

Financial Assistance
Child Care Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program
The Department of Human Services (DHS) provides funding for child care to families with qualified income. Families apply directly to DHS for this funding. This funding reimburses Waypoint for child care costs equal to the number of days the child attended the program, plus up to four absence days. Waypoint accepts only full-time children. Recipients need to contact the Site Director of the program before care is provided so that all necessary documentation can be completed.

Sliding Fee
In keeping with the mission of this organization, Waypoint Child Care Services offers a sliding fee program for families that have applied and been denied DHS funding and are income eligible. Only full-time children will be accepted. Work or school requirements for parent(s) are similar to the DHS/Funding requirements. Please contact the Site Director for more details.
