Internship Opportunities
Waypoint offers unpaid* internship opportunities to provide real-world experiences to students before entering the workforce. All internships will take place between Monday-Friday. See job descriptions for hours of operation in the departments. Internship opportunities are available with the following programs, please click the links below to read the full descriptions:
- Administrative
- Resource Development & Marketing - Support fundraising and outreach by assisting with social media campaigns, event preparation, and marketing efforts.
- Human Resources - Support the HR team with projects relating to employee onboarding, retention, and benefits. - Critical Services
- Domestic Violence Victim Services Program - Provide advocacy through shadowing trained advocates and learn to empower victims. At a minimum, Domestic Violence interns must be available for 8 hours per week, in shifts of at least 4 hours. - Child Care
- KidsPoint Child Care Classroom - Assist in classrooms with educational activities for children ages 6 weeks-5 years.
- School Age Kids Program - Assist with various activities, working with children in grades K-5 before and after school.
- Summer Camp - Assist with various camp activities and trips with children who have just completed grades K-5.
